Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Trident FX ("Trident FX", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use our website, our Telegram bot and community, and related services. We are the data controller for the purposes of UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

Information you give us
- Your Telegram account details when you message our bot — your Telegram name, username and user ID, and the content of the messages you send us.
- Information you choose to share with our team, such as your trading experience, goals, and a brokerage account number you provide so we can help set you up.
- Any contact details you send us (for example by email).
Information we collect automatically
- Technical and usage data when you visit our website — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring website.
- Marketing attribution data, including Google "click identifiers" (gclid) and campaign tags (UTM parameters) passed in the website address, so we can understand which adverts and campaigns work.
2. How we use your information
- To provide our services — onboarding you, answering your questions, and connecting you with our community and broker partner.
- To send you service and marketing messages via Telegram (you can opt out at any time by sending /stop to our bot).
- To measure and improve our advertising and website, including matching ad clicks to outcomes.
- To prevent abuse and fraud, and to keep our services secure.
- To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
3. Legal bases
We rely on the following legal bases under UK GDPR: consent (for example, where you start a conversation with our bot or accept marketing); legitimate interests (running and improving our service, measuring marketing, and preventing fraud, balanced against your rights); and legal obligation where the law requires us to process data.
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed with:
- Telegram — the messaging platform our bot and community run on, subject to Telegram's own privacy policy.
- Google — we use Google Firebase (hosting, database and serverless functions) to operate the service, and Google Ads to measure advertising. Google processes data on our behalf and on its own terms.
- Our broker partner(s) — where you choose to open or fund an account through our links, your interaction is also subject to the broker's own privacy policy. We may receive confirmation that an account was opened.
- Service providers who help us operate, under appropriate data-processing terms.
- Authorities where we are legally required to disclose information.
Some of these providers are based outside the UK; where data is transferred internationally we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
5. Cookies & tracking
Our website uses limited browser storage and the Google Ads tag to remember your session and measure advertising performance (including the gclid and UTM values described above). You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking them may affect some functionality.
6. Retention
We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out above, and to meet our legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
Subject to UK data protection law, you have the right to access your data; to ask us to correct or delete it; to object to or restrict certain processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including access controls and encrypted connections. No system is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Contact
Questions or requests about this policy or your data? Contact us at support@tridentfx.co.uk.
Our services are intended for adults aged 18 or over; we do not knowingly collect data from children.
